Wentworth Falls Football Club

WAY OF THE WARRIORS

From starting out playing social football since 1975, growing to affiliation as a club with the Nepean association in 1983, the club has steadily grown to an all year round operation by hosting both a Winter and Summer competition.

Our home ground, Pitt Park, went through a major overhaul in 2007 giving us a beautiful new playing surface boasting the largest size field on the mountain and lit by 100 lux floodlights for night games.

In 2021 the building of the new clubhouse was completed!

We support and encourage all young people in the area by offering the opportunity to play the game of football from the youngest level to the highest level possible whilst maintaining our core values of Fun, Fitness, Fairplay and Friendship.

WARRIORS UNITE!
Malcolm and Randy are prime examples of giving back and making a change. Malcolm's unwavering commitment has been crucial in upholding the strength of our club, while Randy's coaching has ignited passion and resilience within our players.

MAY NFA VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH:
RANDY LYNCH - WFFC
'Randy used to have a committee position but stepped down so he could coach teams more. He led our team to victory after we had losses and we won the Nepean Cup that year. He coached us and taught us everything we know from how to dribble and even basics on how to throw the ball or kick it. We all play U15 now but he has helped us forever. When we went through loss after loss and only won one game that season, he stepped in and coached us. The season after we lost we won every single game at least 5-0 and he was such an amazing inspiration. He coached us throughout the tough times and the good and even though he coaches the team below us I couldn’t think of anyone else who has brought such joy into our hearts throughout football. He was such an amazing coach, taught us the basics of football and now we are amazing and we couldn’t thank him enough'.

APRIL NFA VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH:
MALCOLM CLINES - WFFC
'Malcolm's unwavering dedication has been instrumental in keeping our club afloat for many years. His tireless efforts extend across a multitude of tasks, from ordering strips to meticulously tending to the grounds, from painting the lines on the field to orchestrating trial games, and beyond. He consistently steps forward, eagerly offering his assistance whenever needed. Malcolm's contributions embody the true spirit of commitment and service to our club.'

Let's come together to celebrate and appreciate the incredible impact these volunteers have made!
